Care For Peace
WHAT WE BELIEVEMISSION
Care for Peace is founded on the premise that there is a connection between providing care through public health services to the under served people of the world, and the peace desired by government and the people. In Myanmar peace hangs in the balance. It is our charge to test our premise and provide care…for peace.
CAre Chain Management
Village-Based Public Health Needs
Care Chain Management is the management and provision of health service equipment, supplies and services between points of origin and points of service that ensures appropriate and timely distribution of village-based public health needs.
ACTION
With the generosity of our nonprofit board members, our advisory board, the Porter Foundation and the Vimy Foundation, over the last four years Care for Peace funded and provided technical support to our in-country partners and villagers:
- Health Education Equipment
- Care for Peace Mobile Health Van
- Care for Peace Rural Health Center
- Care for Peace Just-in-time Midwife Program
Looking Ahead
By January 2018, we inaugurated a social business development plan that would allow Care for Peace to develop a revenue-based platform to provide care chain management to Care for Peace villages, and to any village health center in Myanmar.
EDUCATION
Really much of what we do has to do with education. Our goals are to provide a model of “Population Continuity,” in which we can “promote family and community responsibility for sustaining the human species in perpetuality.”
